The Tôkon Shoshin – formerly known as Kodomo, is the perfect Karate uniform for the serious beginner and intermediate of any age. From its comfortable, medium-weight material to its superior fit and design, this gi sets the standard for all beginner and intermediate uniforms.

Most beginner uniforms are of such poor quality that one can almost see through the material. This is not only embarrassing for the art of Karate-Do but also embarrassing for the student to wear.  Already in this lower price range, Tôkon sets itself apart from competitors by offering a high-quality beginner uniform: the Tôkon Shoshin.

We at Tôkon designed this quality karate uniform with two goals in mind. First, we wanted to create a uniform that is long lasting with a fabric of excellent quality that even adult beginners would feel very comfortable to wear. That’s why we are using a durable and comfortable 10oz 100% cotton twill construction.

Second, we wanted to set the highest standard in this lower price range that can not be topped by any competitor. We made it happen with our Tôkon Shoshin. A high-quality Karate uniform for beginners in the lower price range. To ensure that even youth Karateka can enjoy a quality karate Gi we offer this Gi not only in smallest sizes staring with size 0000 but we also offer it with elastic pants in small sizes.

All uniforms include a white belt and come with a Tôkon chinch bag to carry and pack the uniform.

(Sizes 0000 – 2 have elastic pants, sizes 3 to size 8 have traditional pull system pants).
